Whistlestop Ranch is proud to announce the arrival of Tony Burris as its Trainer and Ranch General Manager. “Tony brings a wealth of experience and talent which provides a whole new direction in our goal of building the best western pleasure horse breeding and training program in the country,” said Tom Corea, a Dallas-based Trial Lawyer whom owns and resides on WhistleStop Ranch with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children, MaryKate (age 13), Lily (age 11) and Bobby (age 5). Also joining WhistleStop Ranch as Associate Trainers are Trey Keys, Jamie Keys and Will Burris, whom all train under Tony Burris’ direction and will also function to enhance the halter horse breeding and training programs.
Whistlestop Ranch is located on 280 acres. We presently have two barns: a 13 stall training barn we use for yearlings and two-year olds; and a 10 stall top of the line, custom built show barn connecected to a covered and half walled 180'x110' arena. New covered round pen and have under construction a covered walker area, 20 stall mare foaling barn with breeding facilities and AI lab, a stud barn and numerous other buildings that will be completed soon.
